Lead Medical Assistant
Liz Branscum, MA has 10+ years in the healthcare industry and was recently promoted to Lead Medical Assistant for the Spine Institute of Arizona. Being with our practice since 2016 has afforded Liz the opportunity to seek out improvements for our back-office processes in order to create a better patient experience.
Liz attended Robert Morris University, graduating in 2006, with her Associates Degree in computer networking. She then went on to obtain her Medical Assistant Certificate from Everest College in 2008.
In addition to acting as Lead Medical Assistant, Liz assists Dr. Gause in clinic three times per week. Prior to starting with the Spine Institute, Liz worked for a major hospital organization in Chicago, increasing her medical knowledge by assisting numerous specialties during her 7 years of employment. She has also worked as an Ophthalmic Technician before to moving to Arizona.
In her free time, Liz loves to play around with makeup, spend time with her boyfriend Domi and their dog Donut, and traveling back home to Chicago to visit family and friends.
