As a surgeon practicing in Phoenix for 35 years, I had plenty of time to do my homework and speak to other patients and physicians who have had experience; both good and bad with Spine Surgeon’s. Choosing Dr Dohring was the obvious choice. His staff is very supportive and he’s a meticulous surgeon. I had an excellent result which allowed me to return to sports and live live without pain. Cannot recommend highly highly enough.

I really am glad I found this place. Dr. Gause is very kind, attentive, thorough, and clear about treatment options and next steps. Dr. Dave, who did my EMG, was all those things, too, and also extraordinarily empathetic to my anxiety about the procedure, which I remembered from a previous experience as agony. In Dr. Dave’s hands it was literally painless. The scheduling and support staff are also great.

I've had lower back pain after a fall and time wasn't helping it. Dr. Conti Mica was referred to me. I had seen 3 previous orthopedic doctors but their treatment wasn't working. I was beginning to think I would have to learn to live with the pain. Dr. Conti Mica was patiently explained what was causing the pain and gave me hope. He has prescribed extensive physical therapy and I feel very encouraged. Very nice practice.

My surgery was late in the afternoon and the next morning I was up with PT, walking through the halls. Two days later I was walking up to one mile with no pain pills (only tylenol). Less than 3 weeks later I am walking 3 times a day to a total of over 4 miles a day and feeling wonderful! I am so thankful to Dr Gause and his staff for their dedication to their patients and quick responses to text questions. I am so pleased with my results and would highly recommend Dr Gause for your spinal surgery.

I had cervical surgery (laminoplasty) and lumbar surgery L 3, 4 and 5 with Dr. Conti Mica. After the cervical surgery I had no pain and I retained motion in my neck. Dr Conti Mica did a great job on both surgeries. The recovery time was super fast and I feel so much better. He is not only professional but very personable as well. He spent time explaining the surgeries and developing your relationship. I'm still simply amazed at the difference and the recovery time. Dr Conti Mica You literally changed my life.

I have struggled with lower back pain and sciatica for over 30 years. My right leg would go numb after standing or walking more than 10 minutes. I went to several surgeons who thought fusion surgery was too risky since all vertebrae were degenerated. Dr. Gause performed fusion surgery 3 weeks ago and I have since been walking 2 miles daily without numbness. I’m very grateful to Dr Gause and his staff.

They took the time to talk to me about my injury, walk me through my X-rays/MRIs, perform a small procedure to help alleviate the issue, and quickly scheduled me for a follow-up to start my PT.
