Dr. Gause has done 4 surgeries on my neck and back and we’ve had some pretty scary situations arise at times but I always felt safe with him taking care of me. I knew everything would turn out OK. Dr. Gause is the sweetest, kindest doctor I have ever had and I feel he is the best doctor in the country in his area of medicine. I love the fact that he has a sense of humor and I can usually get him to laugh about something. I love him dearly and would not hesitate at all to refer anyone to him. I also love Liz, his medical assistant. She is very professional and since I am a nurse, I can tell she knows what she is talking about. She always gets back to me in a timely manner and always shows so much compassion. Sarah, the x-ray tech, is also so sweet and I KNOW that girl knows what she is doing. Also, we share a special love for dogs. The receptionist who always checks me in is the first impression of the office and she is an angel. She always remembers my name and makes me feel welcome. I probably wrote more than I should but Dr. Gause and his team are wonderful.

I have had two different surgical procedures from Dr. Gause and they both turned out with excellent results. The service before and after both of these operations came with care and understanding thanks to his staff both in his office and at the hospital.

Dr. Auten was amazing. He took his time to diagnose my problem and corrected my low back pain in 3 visits. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Top-notch docs! I have seen a few of the doctors here for different procedures as they were working me up. I have nothing but positive things to say about every interaction I had with the doctors and the staff. They are the best in town (I know, I was looking for my third opinion when I found this office). They take the time to listen, explain, and make sure you are comfortable. I have told all my neighbors, friends, and family about this place. I recommend without reservation. I can now spend my days on the golf course (why I moved to AZ). Thanks Spine Institute, keep up the good work.

The physicians at The Spine Institute of AZ are wonderful!! As a nurse I have sent my patients here to receive the necessary spinal medical treatment for multiple years. Dr. Dave is wonderful!! She is a knowledgeable, caring and compassionate physician who listens to her patients. By the way…Dr. Dave is also my physician. I would not trust my spinal care with any other physician in the greater Phoenix area!!

Dr. Dohring and his team truly care about a patients welfare. The professionalism and credentials are unsurpassed. Dr. Dohring is at the top of his field. His Physician Assistant, Bill Balogh, has unrivaled experience! The entire team is a blessing. They gave me my life back. I haven’t felt this good in years. Couldn’t be happier. I would have recommended the Spine Institute of Arizona without reservation.

Dr. Kevin Burns is a consummate caregiver, confident, knowledgeable, and understanding. The important qualities that one looks for when selecting a spine surgeon. I entered pre-op at 5:00 AM and was home by 11:00 AM. The pain is gone, I am fully on the mend and back in the gym. I am 80 years of age and looking ahead!

After having my first appt with Dr. Dave today, I had to write this review. I’ve never been treated with care and concern before about my neck issues, and not only did she take the time to listen to me (about 20 minutes!), she actually gave me a plan of action and explained everything in detail. I’m so incredibly happy to have found a doctor that finally listens!

I’ve been a patient for 4 years now, and definitely recommend Dr. Rowley for pain management. He’s cautious because he is an analytical person, and wants to weigh all options to best help you. As there’s an increased risk for addiction to drugs like Percocet, Dr. Rowley prefers to use solutions that don’t rely on medications unless absolutely necessary. This also saves the patient money, time, and a trip to the pharmacy. He is kind. He is caring, and is attentive to his patients.

The last two visits were exceptionally quick at scheduling appointments for getting in to see Dr. Gause. The care plan he created for me was easy to understand and read. Dr. Gause saved my cousin’s life when other care providers did not.

The Spine Institute of Arizona is by far the BEST Spine Institute. Even with the pandemic going on, Dr. Godinsky was able to schedule me in for surgery. Dr. Godinsky was very professional and the staff at Spine Institute of Arizona are helpful in every aspect. I highly recommend them and have told others about them. No other Spine Institute can compare!

Dr. Godinsky – Just finished up neck and back surgery on me from an accident that happen at work. Dr. Godinsky is the most caring doctor I have every met. He is always very nice, cheerful, he has the best bed side manners out of any doctor I have every had. I had a lot going on when I got hurt at work and Dr. Godinsky had me in his office from Alaska in a few days and Surgery scheduled the week after for my neck and 3 weeks after that, he fit me in for my back, to me that was outstanding work on his part as well as his whole team. He always would check up on me after surgery and the morning before. So blessed to have a great doctor and one that has your back that would be the one and only Dr. Godinsky.

Dr. Gause is a doctor you can trust. Top credentials, top surgeon. He’s a surgeon that thoroughly goes through the process and having surgery is his last resort. Highly recommended!!!!!

I recently had to have back surgery to alleviate some severe pain I was experiencing. Dr. Burns, his staff and the hospital did an amazing job in taking care of me from start to finish. My procedure went perfectly, I felt no pain afterwards and was actually able to walk later the same day. This was the first major surgery I ever had and was obviously nervous about it. However, none of my fears were realized and in hindsight wish I had done it sooner. The Spine Institute of AZ, Dr. Burns, Carson, and the rest of the staff folks did a fantastic job of scheduling my surgery asap, communicating well throughout the process and following up. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a diagnosis and/or surgical procedure.

I had surgery on L3 & L4 for stenosis about 3 years ago by Dr. Dohring. The recovery was virtually pain free, and I got immediate relief and continue today to benefit from that surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Dohring for back surgery.
